Gladiator School in Austria Larger Than in Rome

Identical with the Roman gladiators, especially since the discovery of ruins of the Ludus Magnus, which is the largest gladiator training school there. However, recently greater gladiator school discovered by archaeologists at the ruins Carnuntum Austria, the eastern city of Vienna, Austria. Governor of Lower Austria, Erwin Proell, said, "This discovery is a world sensation, in the true sense." In addition, archaeologists have added that the ruins are very unique, dimensional shape and completeness of the relics.

Gladiator school is located about 10 km from the complex gladiator who is now a tourist area. This ruins the area was developed since 1700 years ago as a military and trade center in Roman times.

Inside the school, there is a page as a residence, various buildings that are round, and a small stadium with wooden seats.

The school is estimated to contain 40 cells a small bed for the gladiators and also place a large bath. Roemisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum are also involved in the investigation said the school is composed of a prison and barracks which also has very strict security system.

Until now, experts have not determined when it will dig site. They need some time to finalize plans and start digging.
